Keep some items close at hand when relocating your home or office

When you're relocating yourself and your family to another home, whether it's down the street or across the country, it's very helpful to hire one of the country's most reputable van lines. These companies can ensure you won't have to go through the hassle of lugging every item you own from your home to a truck and back into a new house. However, there are some items you'll want to personally move to be certain they're available when you need them.
For instance, financial tools, such as checkbooks, credit cards and personal identification should ride with you in your car or luggage if you're doing some long distance moving and flying. This isn't because a moving company might be unreliable or untrustworthy, it's simply important to not let such tools become buried in your boxes when you might need them in an emergency. The same is true for insurance cards, prescriptions and medicines that are crucial to have on hand at a moment's notice.
Another set of items to keep with you while a household moving company is taking the rest of your belongings is electronics and chargers. If you need to get in touch with an airline, a pet-sitter or a family member that you're meeting at your new house, you wouldn't want your phone to be dead or your computer's battery to be drained.
