In Home Estimates
Our professional sales staff uses the handheld, portable SalesMate estimating system, one of the integrated software solutions offered by TechMate International. This advanced professional tool enables our sales staff to quickly and accurately present pricing to our customers.

Specialty Software Packages
Stevens currently offers two software packages. SvlAgentmate and Tariff 2000, free of charge to their commercial agents.

Inventory
Techmate International's automated inventory solution, the LoadMate, is used by our van operators to produce quick, accurate, and easy-to-read inventory analysis.

Global Tracking

  • Many of our long-haul units contain @Track Communications equipment. This on-board state-of-the-art mobile communications system combines two-way messaging with Global Position System (GPS) location finding. The equipment, which is accurate within 100 meters, can track a vehicle and give its location in minutes. The system is integrated with Stevens' computer network, allowing interactive communication with the drivers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

ScreenSVL ONLINE
Our Intranet, www.svlonline.com, was developed by movers, for movers. Stevens Worldwide leads the industry in technological capabilities, by encouraging customers and agents to access information directly from our internal computer system.

Clients and agents are provided immediate access to MIS (Management & Information Systems) and online custom reports. Reports are blended to individual operations procedures, to assist in operating more efficiently. This specialized program has been developed by a staff of four (4) Stevens' in-house programmer analysts, who have built the system from the ground-up. Their expertise allows Stevens to enhance the system to fit the needs of the van lines, our agents, and our customers.

As an agent for Stevens Worldwide Van Lines you will have full Internet access to the Stevens computer system to:

  • Perform mileage inquiries consistent with DTOD.
  • Inquire on any domestic registration where you are a participating and/or booking agent. Use this feature to obtain van assignments, view and send notes, access billing and revenue distribution, pick & holds, monitor claims activity, etc
  • Look for available tonnage from Stevens and other carriers we reciprocate with.
  • Look for an agent in a county or state or check our ratings on an agent before you assign them to handle your shipment.
  • Look at a listing of your drivers qualified in our system and keep track of any pending requirements (i.e., physical, SAF, etc.).
  • Look at a listing of the equipment you have qualified in our system.
  • Look at active orders <= 600 miles by planning zone, or in total, to see if there is an agent who might be able to help you out or if an agent has tonnage that might fit with one of your orders.
  • Inquire on your accounts receivable balance with Stevens. This lets you reconcile financial transactions between your agency and Stevens.
  • Run a "volume" report of bookings/haulings for your agency to see what you've booked or hauled during a selectable period.

Training
We also offer several CD-Rom based training programs. These are designed to assist the agent with driver and sales training.
