ISO 9001 is a quality management standard. Specifically, ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a company’s management system where the organization demonstrates its ability to consistently provide a product or service that meets customer standards as well as statutory and regulatory requirements and works to enhance customer satisfaction through continual improvement and regulations.
For Stevens and its divisions, the ISO 9001:2008 certification applies to the entire organzation including operations, sales, billing administration and customer satisfaction.
To become ISO certified, Stevens had to undergo reviews and audits by representatives from NSF International Strategic Registrations, Ltd., (NSF-ISR.) Stevens also conducts regular internal audits and continuous internal monitoring and evaluation of quality measures.
The ISO 9001:2008 certification is valid for three years if the company maintains all of the qualifications and standards.
